Automatic PDF to Image conversion

Many promotional images intended for online distribution are unfortunately in PDF form. This can confuse some RAs and users when attempting to post these files. While converting PDFs to images can be done easily, some users may not understand this or know how. this feature would seek to streamline this process.

Process

1. When a PDF is posted, it will delete the message and DM the user a message stating that their message contained a PDF, which isn't supported. It will then state that it will convert the PDF.

   • If user DMs cannot be reached, it will post a temporary (10 second) message (ideally ephemeral) tagging the user stating that they posted a PDF and telling them to enable DMs.

2. It will then automatically convert the PDF and send the user the image as well as their original message so that they can repost their message
