Checklist for releasing v1.4.0:

  • Bump version in __init__.py in RC_v1.4.0
  • Add changelog for v1.4.0 in RC_v1.4.0
  • Add new contributors to v1.4.0
  • Merge RC_v1.4.0 into main (Merging RC_v1.4.0 into main #203)
  • Merge main into RC_v1.5.0
  • Delete branch RC_v1.4.0
  • Create release
  • Update conda-feedstock to require >= Python 3.7 (Drop support for Python <3.7 #185)
  • Push release to conda-forge
  • E-mail tobac mailing list
