🎯 Success criteria:

We need better resources for getting users started with GitHub and our projects once they have joined a working group.

To Do

  • Add docs about GitHub and how it works for new people
    • PRs, Add / Delete / Change Files, Issues, Project boards
    • Instruct on GitHub Desktop client
    • Getting started with Markdown
  • Introduction to how Element's UI works
    • Disable notifications unless mentioned!!

I feel not to go into too much detail in this, as processes change and the docs may fall out of date. Instead, describe the basics and then plan to have a personal walkthru (e.g. monthly workflow trainings, every last saturday on a month) to onboard new ppl.
