I just want to assemble a a number of pdf files into one document.
My procedure:
setting up the file list as usual
defining the output file
hit the "run" button but nothing is happening:
. no progress in the run bar
. no file produced
I'm not sure: -is it mandatory to fill anything else?
e,g,, the other settings that are listed?
Please help: I#m working on a Tax Declaration:
I did not have this problem last year, with an older version of PDFsam
Thanks so much.

Further to my trying to work successfully with PDFsam, I installed the 32-bit Version of PDFsam (v.3.3.7).
I was successful to produce the merged file.
I appreciated the increased clarity (e.g. no columns except the necessary ones, like filenames, date of the file, One problem I encountered: I entered an illicit file-name, using a colon {:] which prevented the run command to function.
Would it be possible to issue the error warning Windows issues in these cases?
Greets, Hans
