Known issues

Do they make this worthwhile?

  • Some of them specific to our implementation / Django
  • Some of them general to pattern libraries?
  • And to the front-end / back-end workflow

Fundamental constraints:

  • Dependencies on database structures
  • Dependencies on models’ structures

Known alternatives

Twig + Patternlab

What we did before. Means copy-pasting between the two templating languages, that can be slightly different. Context needs manual sync.

Jinja2 + Nunjucks

What are other agencies doing?

Could ask on Wagtail Slack?
