Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

  1. Risk of performing operations on an unwanted environment
  2. Identifying tab environment easily (tab management)

Describe the solution you'd like
User can select an environment color that will appply to

  • the favicon
  • the user-info div

It must to be selected by the user so it can be consistent with other tools that provide color coding

Describe alternatives you've considered
Tampermonkey...but can't edit other extensions sadly

Additional context

  • several extensions also modify the favicon (organizer, salesforce login by synebo...)
  • Using stylus I personally modify the color of the environment banner Sandbox: <envName> | Log out to quickly identify the current environment

The actual feature allows you to choose a favicon by entering its url, this functionality will be blocked by the future update on the Updated Content Security Policy.

To be able to use an icon from an external website you will have to add the domain to the CSP trusted domains:
