darktable:

(+) more intuitive to use
(-) filmstrip needs double-click instead of single-click to switch

rawtherapee:

(+) scaled to hidpi better
(+) more natural defaults
(-) takes too long to load big folders (no caching thumbnails)
(-) doesn't seem to update preview right away?
