Many users who use remix like me have been having the same issue as I where the autoawesome is not working. I think it is something due to the changes TT has been making.

Yeah, haven't looked into it and probably wont. According to superusers, turntable isn't happy with this feature and are doing what they can to prevent it from working.

Maybe we'll have more active rooms as a result, so far I've noticed a lot less votes without it. In coding soundtrack with 195-200 people we were getting 5 votes a song for some time, maybe they just weren't feeling it.

I've always used auto awesome out of laziness and partially to prevent getting completely distracted by turntable while I'm trying to focus on work. The way I saw it, as long as the music was good it would get an awesome automatically and at any point the song became disappointing or lame, I could change the vote. However, when people start leaving their computer for extend periods of time it could make it appear as though those afk voters approve of the track that's currently playing and mislead the DJ or prevent them from being skipped or booed off deck.

I don't have time now, but someone could probably write an extension that creates a button on the chrome toolbar that allows you to click once to awesome, twice to lame, long click to show info. Just an idea..
