Will this work with Catalina? #6
Comments
i'm not brett but i came here to see if there was an issue and workaround documented for using this in Catalina. it's not signed and my workstations on catalina refuse to use it and i'm trying to figure out how to address it or remove the requirement on an ad-hoc basis 😬 maybe i could fake it out or sign it myself with my developer ID, haven't made up my mind yet |
okay @jjarava if you haven't already figured this out, Open Bundle Contents in the finder, burrow to the MacOS binaries inside and right-click open the binary and it'll ask you to open it, then pop up a Terminal with it running and failing and then next time you use the quicklook plugin it'll prompt you and then work as intended 👍 |
The "right-click open the binary" didn't work for me in macOS 12. I had to disable gatekeeper using spctl, quicklook a text bundle one time then turn back on gatekeeper. This worked for me in macOS 13 : |
Hi!
I haven't tried it as I'm wary of updating yet, as there seems to be quite a bit of breakage with Catalina and a few apps...
But the "noise" about QL Plugings not working in Catalina that I see on https://github.com/sindresorhus/quick-look-plugins/issues makes me wonder.
Thanks
