Hinge/6DOF joints without motors? #47

A few friends and I have talked of moving to the turbulenz engine to create large-scale games, but we've noticed that the 3D physics in turbulenz is missing motors for hinge and 6DOF constraints. This is a massive limitation of the engine for anyone wishing to work on 3D games of any complexity.

Is there any further development of the 3D physics planned? Or is turbulenz mainly focused on 2D for the foreseeable future?

Would be great if someone could let me know about this :) Some other highly desirable features while I'm here:

  • Measure the work done by a constraint's motor
  • Check force sustained by a constraint at any particular time
  • Set joint's "break limit" - amount of force required to break it
