Automatic evaluation in the background

Final step toward #1586. Implement automatic evaluation of the current document in the background, for example with a worker thread popping closures to evaluate from a stack, and reporting back diagnostic to the main LSP process.

There are probably plenty of improvements needed, but the initial implementation was merged in #1814.
