This project should move to another Git forge platform

We can agree that Google shouldn't be trusted with our data. Why are we on a platform controlled by Microsoft? Is Microsoft more ethical than Google? History doesn't suggest so. GitHub's main "feature" is that it's more like a social platform--to collect more user data and push engagement numbers and it's regressively done more in this vein over time. There's a reason all of the big FOSS projects like KDE, GNOME, Wayland, etc. and smaller privacy-focused projects like PRISM Break have moved elsewhere after Microsoft acquiring it. A lot of the de-Google movement is around open source, and Github isn't open source either so it can't be audited, self-hosted, or fixed.

There are lots of alternatives that also have static page hosting like: GitLab, Codeberg, Sourcehut
