I am using Typora for learning Arabic.

Arabic text is smaller and therefore harder to read when set against Latin text:

For the browser there are extensions like Wudooh to scale Arabic script only. See for example these search results:

I understand this may be quite the niche request. But here are some options that would benefit many:

Allow users to define custom shortcuts that work like Ctrl+B does, only it surrounds with custom elements.
Make Typora available in the web browser
