It would be nice with an tags editor that looks like the one build in to Umbraco but with data-source support, so that tags could be looked up from an external or internal source.

The tags shouldn't be added to the tags collection inside umbraco by default but it could be an option.
By avoiding adding the tags to the collection, this editor could be used inside nested/stacked/grid content that the build-in tags editor doesn't support.
