Hi,

Hovering over the data does not work great. Indeed, when you stop on a given point in the plot,
very often you don't get the associated legend.
Any idea on how to solve that? :)

I haven't ever encountered the issue. Consider usually when there are several data points in the same pixel the legend contains all of them, so maybe there's a limit there. Can you try zooming in your plot and see if when there's only one datapoint in a pixel it works? Also, could it be a browser specific behavior? Have you tried other browsers?

Hi,
I tried that with the default dataset and with a custom dataset on both Google chrome and Edge. Indeed, when there is not much data points it works well but with slightly more data points, hover is impossible.
Also, the top tittle : "N embeddings selected, cosine measure" disappears once the graph is updated and displays the data points...

What is the ideal browser according to you?

When many many datapoints are in the same pixel usually a big legend (you may have to wait half a second for it to pop up), but in your case it does not pop up at all which is weird. Either way unfortunately I believe that it is a Bokeh limitation that I cannot do much about. When we release v2 that doesn't use Bokeh things should work fine, but that may end up taking a while. Sorry about that.
In my experience Chrome gives the best rendering performance.

Great @w4nderlust, indeed it is very likely to be Bokeh related. I find Bokeh not really optimal. Any idea when the next release is?

We don't have a release date yet. We are working on it on and off, we'll keep you posted about it when we'll have a clearer idea about the timeline.
