Test ISO is here! (Alpha 3)

Alright everyone, the day we've been waiting for is here, we finally have an ISO! It took some extra point releases but the team nailed over the past three nights of fun.

We now have ONE unified ISO with all the options right in the grub menu:

First let's get the details out of the way:

WARNING: We consider this to be Alpha quality and we will need some help testing. If you've got machines and VMs to spare, we need your help!

• Generic ISO for everyone (always use the latest stable): https://github.com/ublue-os/main/releases
• Bluefin ISOs are also available
• ... and when Bazzite gets them I'll update this link

IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS, especially if you've never used Silverblue or Kinoite before, namely:

• Dual boot and manual partitioning are not supported

and more importantly, the progress bar during the installation will look like it's hanging but it probably is not. If you are bandwidth-challenged then the bar will sit there until the entire image is downloaded, so please me mindful of that!

The ISO is for Fedora 38, which is not released yet, and we're using Fedora features that won't be available until Fedora 39 this fall, so we're really pushing the state of the art here! I fully expect to keep these as alpha until at least Fedora 38 is out, and then calling them beta for a while after, we're not in a rush. However if you've been with us so far, you know that even in their current state, it's pretty awesome. These are netinstallers so we won't make these often as they'll always pull the latest image for the desktop you've chosen.

• @p5 - for writing the ISO generator action, please note that this was done before the support for this landed in Fedora, so some blind flying there. 🛩️
• @marcoceppi - for figuring out where to integrate the isogenerator action in the release-please action
• @bigpod98 - who figured out how to have main, bluefin, and nvidia use the action and push them to github releases
• @joshua-stone for combining it all into one ISO with the images available in the boot menu.

• @bketelsen for catching the initial issue and subsequent testing

Installing Kinoite-main-38.iso in Vbox and trying to open Discover results in a brief loading animation then crashing:

To confirm i installed Kinoite 38 and rebased to uBlue and Discover loads without errors.

This should probably be clarified somewhere, but I'm just throwing it out here quickly;
Multiboot is functional and very easy if you have a separate disk for each OS (I'm running 'my own uBlue' dual-booted with Windows on another disk) (though I did run into a small problem with Windows not booting after installing Kinoite, but that could have been just Windows shitting itself as it basically fixed itself, at least I don't remember being able to fix it myself)

Good to call out. I too have a dual-boot windows/ublue-os(silverblue) machine (gaming rig)...

My method was to:

1. remove the windows drive, leaving only the drive on which I meant to install silverblue
2. boot and install ublue-os/silverblue as normal, using the complete disk
3. reboot to verify the silverblue installation
4. shutdown, re-add the windows drive

Hi, I would like to try installing u-blue via ISO, but I have encountered an issue. Does the installation process require internet access?

Sorry I didn't read the documentation carefully, I installed it straight away based on the ISO name and personal experience.
Perhaps we could add the netboot tag to the ISO name, similar to Fedora's netinst.
