r2872 fails to compile due to "attempt to use poisoned malloc" error in j2k.c #368

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Checkout revision 2872 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
2.cmake .
3.make -j5

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No error during compiling. Instead got:

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
revision 2872 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Please provide any additional information below.
Everything compiles fine on revision 2871.

Should have added that this is on x86_64 architecture.
