We should have a few discussions before we do this release.

  • Strong feelings about fs -> file and scope of uwtools to include makedirs.
  • What do we call the file getter if not uw file get?
    • Example: uw file get url:https://....

We should also wait on current SRW integrations to see if there are additional fixes needed by chgres_cube and/or make_grid.

  • Expecting one small fix for chgres_cube that adds FV3GFS as an external model name in JSON Schema.
