A 451 shows some helpful info: https://dev.webarchive.org.uk/wayback/archive/http://www.bbc.com/

A 404 just says 404: https://dev.webarchive.org.uk/wayback/archive/http://www.bbbbbc.com/

Some more useful information should be shown. Link to live web, TimeGate, etc.
