Question

Hi Ultralytics Support Team,

I was hoping you could clarify something for me. Are foundation models available to use directly through your inference API, or is the process designed for users to host/train their own models first and then upload them to your infrastructure for use via the inference API? Can you guide me through a relevant documentation?

Thank you for your help!

👋 Hello @Naykafication, thank you for reaching out with your question about the Ultralytics HUB 🚀! This is an automated response to let you know we're on it, and an Ultralytics engineer will assist you soon.

For now, you can explore our HUB Docs to find more information. Here are some sections that might be particularly useful for you:

  • Inference API. Understand how to use the Inference API for running your trained models in the cloud to generate predictions.
  • Models: Training and Exporting. Train YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 models on your custom datasets and export them to various formats for deployment.

If this is a 🐛 Bug Report, please provide screenshots and steps to reproduce your problem, as this will help us work on a fix more effectively.

For your ❓ Question, it would be helpful to have more details about your specific use-case or any particular models you're interested in using.

We always aim to respond to issues as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and for being a part of our community! 😊
