Volume control is very slow #23

Changing volume is almost unusable because it is extremly slow.

Press & hold is barely changing the volume, about one step every 2 seconds.
Press & hold is not smooth, volume "jumps around"
Fast single press only reacts to about every 4th or 5th key press, then jumps about 2 volume steps at once.
