Docker web GUI shows version check 'not available' on containers from private insecure registries, update function not working #961

In addition, the version tag (next to the 'i' in the black circle) is reported incorrectly, showing <PORT NUMBER>/<CONTAINER NAME> instead of latest. I suspect this is a parser error since, when creating the container, the Repository UI field contains both the registry's IP and port number prefixed to the container name.
