How do cookies work with bruno in the GitLab CI/CD pipeline?

I am running bruno on a GitLab CI/CI pipeline. I have a collection with multiple folders and most requests require an authentication.

Locally, the authentication and the cookies are working automatically without me having to do anything extra. It's just not working on the pipeline.

I am trying following approach now:
Pre Request:

const cookies = res.getHeader('set-cookie');

if(cookies) {
  bru.setVar("cookie", cookies.join('; '));
}

For the Post Request:

const cookies = res.getHeader('set-cookie');

if(cookies) {
  bru.setVar("cookie", cookies.join('; '));
}

Is there a better alternative for that approach or is it the way to go?
