The current font of choice Public Sans seems to be adding padding around the em dash that looks like a space. The APA standard says that there should be no space around an em dash.
Has there been discussion on adjusting this padding?

I noticed this, too. I like the idea of adding a hair space before and after, like you might kern any two characters; right now it feels maybe double the size it should be.
