Microphone not working

Sound recording is hit or miss. Probably some configuration setting with gst

Following up on this - I see that it's enabled in UTM 4, but I am completely unable to get it to work. There are no microphone entitlements in the codesigning, and I am never prompted by the macOS Host to grant microphone permissions to UTM.

Are there extra steps to take that would be worth documenting? (Granting mic access can't be done manually).

You need to start a VM that has audio capabilities.

I have started both an existing macOS Virtualization VM running 12.4, upgraded from UTM 3, and created a new macOS virtualization VM in UTM 4.0.1. No prompt is observed.
