Unsupported soundcard used by UTM when creating PPC64 virtual machines #5734

Describe the issue
When I create new virtual machines for PPC64, UTM will always add a "SoundBlaster 16" sound card to my virtual machine configuration. When I then try to start the VM, it will fail because of the following error:

qemu-ppc64-softmmu: -device sb16,audiodev=audio0: No 'ISA' bus found for device 'sb16'

Btw: I cannot change the value for the emulated audio card graphically (there is some glitch in the UI which prevents me from selecting any specific value from the combobox and this issue happens on all comboboxes of this virtual machine, other virtual machines which are not PPC based, are not affected - I will create a separate issue for that).

Configuration

  • UTM Version: 4.3.5
  • macOS Version: 13.5.2
  • Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): M2 Max

Crash log
No crash at all, so no crash log available
