The README file on the homework says "You only have one test so make it count!" However, I have not found any similar statement anywhere else in the assignment. Is this a reference to the fact that you will only run the test once when grading our assignment, or is there some other meaning?

This means that, instead of spreading your programming portion grade across several tests like we've done in previous homework assignments, all 60% of the programming grade is based on this one test.
Without making this homework assignment very long it's difficult to come up with smaller, partial problems to test your MPI skills on.
In short, if the test included in your repo passes then you receive the 60% credit on your last assignment!
