Pages Brought in via sync_docs Work Locally but Not on GitHub Pages

The sync_docs.sh script successfully updates submodules, syncs documentation, and adds front matter locally. When running the site locally using Jekyll, all pages and links function as expected. However, on GitHub Pages, the same pages are not accessible and result in 404 errors.
