Folders with public or unlisted vals are shareable

I have a collection of N vals that I want to share, but it's quite hard to do that at the moment as it requires N links - an instant turnoff.

I would love it if a folder was visible publicly if it contains any public/unlisted vals. Those vals would be visible in the folder, letting me share the whole set in one go.

Not sure if this should instead be "all folders are visible, given the right URL", because: a) vals you can't see, can't be seen anyway and b) is it even a security problem to leak the existence of a folder?

Great point. This was my original plan. However we are not sure if we want to invest or encourage users to invest in folders, because we are thinking hard about other "grouping" abstractions. Hopefully we have a better answer for this shortly!

I’ve had a go at creating a val to list vals: https://www.val.town/v/mxdvl/vals

Although this does not have a concept of folders, it may be helpful as a pattern to grow from?
