Easy imports from other platforms like JsFiddle and Claude artifacts #203

Great idea! I'm adding the "userspace" label here because it would be pretty easy to build this sort of thing in userspace. I'd start by taking our system prompt for townie (which you can find in townie's settings) and use claude 3.5 sonnet. The issue is that this could get expensive if it takes off... I wonder how we could solve that. We used to have a ?prompt= query param for Townie but removed it because it may have been a security issue |

I'm an instructional designer. In valtown I work mostly on small apps to use in the courses I am developing. I often end up using many AI tools such as ChatGPt, Claude, Codepen and ValTown's Townie to develop and troubleshoot my learning interactions. I have no coding knowledge so I often get stuck. One time, I was quite pleased to discover I was able to copy the code ChatGpt gave me...into Townie's "what will you build today" text box so that I could see what was offered up... and then townie helped me fix things. Another time I tried the same technique but the code got cut off. So yes, it would be really helpful to have an easy way to upload code from such places as those listed above (and JSfiddle) for townie to access. I have found just using the image file upload to troubleshoot errors, not all that effective. |

Sometimes I have a JsFiddle or Claude artifact that I want to enhance in some way that I can't do on those platforms, but I could do if the thing were already a val. I could manually convert them to vals, but I'm lazy enough that I probably won't. However, if I could just copy and paste a URL to import and then keep editing the val...
Of course there are tons of other useful potential import sources. I just gave the two that would most likely want to upgrade to vals.
