Resize wallpapers to the screen

Hi,
I have some photos and picture in my folder, but when I use Variety the images are larger then the screen.
Can you build/create an option to Variety size the wallpapers to fit the screen?
Not sure if I understood the guidelines...

@temudjin7 Did you try in the preferencies on the second tab in wallpaper the display modes? I use zoom as it does not distort the picture but still I have it spread for the whole display.

I don't seem to have any option to "fit" or "zoom" pictures to the monitor size. So if it is a portrait photo, it gets clipped off top and bottom.

You are on some old Variety version. Fixed in #518.

All good... Found these instructions and now works... Although I'd like to know why the normal Mint install didn't get the latest version?
