Messages forwarding is implemented in the web client. We would like to have that feature on iOS too.

We have problems with using the UI from the share extension for forwarding messages inside our app. We would like to:

  • Implement a forward button similar to the share button
  • Use the selection UI from the Share extension but do it inside the app so the extension itself does not have to be called
  • Add a functionality that a message can be forwarded simutaniously to several rooms / dms
