Hi @532910 I'm looking for a bit more info about this issue. I have tried to re-produce by creating a text file named test@1234.txt and sending it into a room from Element on iOS and Desktop. The file sends and when I tap on it, I see a preview of the text file's contents and I can tap the share icon to open it in other apps.

Would you be able to provide more detailed steps or a video showing the issue you are seeing?

It's hard to record a clean screen record, so I wouldn't like to put it here. But I could share it privately with someone on the dev team.

Conversely, if you would prefer to make a clean screen to record anyway, create a new space from the sidebar and add a single room to it for testing.
