Steps to reproduce

  1. From the "All chats" screen click "Search"
  2. Type "Delight"
  3. Click on "Delight Internal"
  4. Click on "Send a message..."
  5. See that nothing happens!
  6. Click the back arrow.
  7. Clear the search (x on the side of the search box)
  8. Click "Delight Internal" again.
  9. Click on "Send a message..."
  10. The keyboard pops up. Yay!

Outcome

What did you expect?

Clicking "Send a message..." should always bring up the keyboard.

What happened instead?

I was unable to send a message in the room.

iPhone 14

Operating system version

iOS 16.0.1 (but I saw in <16 too)

Application version

1.9.6 (20220920134957)

Seems to be reproducible only on iOS 16.

i also ran into this issue and shared a video recording in a DM with @gileluard (as its my account with my data id' rather not put on GH!)
