Discussed in #10127

A user encountered an issue where the batch.max_bytes setting they previously used stopped working, as we had recently changed/enforced batch size limits as part of #10006.

We need to go back and:

  • fix the upgrade guide to call these out
  • make a note (potentially mental) to call these out in future upgrade guides
  • explore updating the Cue data to be able to display maximum values allowed for batch settings
