What happened?

在我的笔记本（标题中说所的设备）中无法使用uefi启动，在BIOS的启动列表和boot menu中均能看到它这个启动项，但是无法进入它，在BIOS中将它设置为第一启动项之后重启，BIOS直接从第二个启动项启动了，在boot menu中选择从它启动，也是直接从别的启动设备启动了，但是在老式台式机（支持uefi和安全启动并开启了安全启动，年代有点久远，大概是win7那个时代的机子）上面能够正常以uefi模式进入到菜单，不知道是我笔记本的兼容性问题还是软件的bug，在老机子上面能启动，在新机子上面反而不能uefi启动。当我把我笔记本的启动模式设置为Leagcy的时候能正常进入，但uefi就会出现上述问题

笔记本试过关安全启动也不行，老电脑什么也没干就能uefi启动

笔记本uefi试图启动U盘，什么报错也没有，就像是这个U盘无法进行uefi启动一样，直接去从别的启动项启动了，我笔记本说别的winpe是能正常启动的，BIOS设置里面也有“加载默认安全启动密钥”这个按钮，现在的问题就是我笔记本根本无法从这个U盘用uefi启动，而不是启动了提示证书错误之类的

制作的时候安全启动开了，安全启动至少BIOS里显示关了，另外直接用diskgenius把成品U盘进行mbr转gpt能行的吗

不过如果转gpt的话是不是就没法兼顾legacy了。。。。。。再就是我另一个pe U盘也是mbr的uefi，能在我笔记本上顺利启动，也是金士顿的

安全启动显示已关闭

将ventory制作的盘和另一个软件制作的winpe同时插在电脑上并将启动顺序设置成图中的样子，结果还是进了第二个启动项，但这两个盘都是mbr+uefi的

现在我重新把安全启动打开

然后同样设置启动顺序

重启后还是一样的现象，再次进入BIOS发现它被BIOS丢到最底下去了，启用了uefi后不管是否开启安全启动都无法启动到这个U盘

对了，ventory好像会跟一些分区软件冲突，有一次我无意中多开了一份ventory，后开的就认不到盘，连本地硬盘都认不到，今天我开了diskgenius没关，打开ventory也是一个盘都看不到，关闭dg之后再重启ventory才正常

试了下，这样可以进启动菜单，但我看BIOS设置里面也有“加载默认证书”的选项，说明它可能也是支持导入证书的，可为啥却无法引导ventory，另外我之前测试的老电脑开安全启动啥也不干就能启动到ventory，老电脑是公用电脑，不排除以前有人也用过ventory并导入了证书，不过我操作的时候它BIOS里uefi和安全启动都是关着的，反正我把UEFI和安全启动打开之后没有进行任何其它的操作就能启动到ventory

确实在有一些机器上有这种问题，只要 Ventoy 安装时勾选了 安全启动支持，则不管BIOS里面的安全启动选项是开启还是关闭，都不能启动。
经常会伴有 Linpus Lite 相关的错误，你的图片看不太清除，好像也有这个 Linpus 字样。

确实在有一些机器上有这种问题，只要 Ventoy 安装时勾选了 安全启动支持，则不管BIOS里面的安全启动选项是开启还是关闭，都不能启动。
经常会伴有 Linpus Lite 相关的错误，你的图片看不太清除，好像也有这个 Linpus 字样。

i tried uefi + mbr + secure boot,failed to boot on my laptop,but uefi +mbr witout secure boot can boot on my laptop,when i enable the ventoy's secure boot and i enable the secure boot on my laptop 's bios,it can't boot.the leagcy is worked,but on my laptop's disk was installed an system with uefi,my laptop 's bios can't use the uefi and leagcy at the same time

can convert mbr to gpt?my usb disk has too much file,remake it will need very long time to backup and restory the file

Why not try another usb stick, they are very cheap or borrow one?

all my usb disk has file,i don't have any empty usb disk to do it,and i don't think the usb disk is cheap

i don't think format or clean data on borrow usb disk is a good way...because they usb disk have some data too,and the maybe not want to do this thing with they usb disk

I guess you are stuck as you cannot try any different partition structure or even a different product such as easy2boot, aioboot or winsetupfromusb, etc. So unless you copy off your files, remake the ventoy stick, and replace a few of the iso files, we will never know.

i know this problem ,but infact,i move than need a long time......now i tryed:
disable the secure boot on ventoy and my laptop 's bios,and than it can succesc boot ,i set boot type to leagcy,and it can boot too,only enable secure boot can't boot.when i didn't cheng any setting on ventoy (enable secure boot),it can boot on vmware 、two old computer (suppot uefi and secure boot),they are all the machine can i try to use and into bios setting,only my laptop can't boot on uefi with enable secure boot.if you can read chinese or tranlate chinese,you can try to read the other message on this issuse.(my english is not good,maybe have some granmer error in my message)

My Lenovo ideapad 300 cannot secure boot to Ventoy unless I use ventoy GPT. That is why I suggested it.

but maybe leagcy don't support gpt...in my remenber,only mbr + uefi can support uefi and leagcy at the same time.i have another usb disk used another winpe build software to make,and it can use secure boot on mbr + uefi on my laptop.now is when i enable secure boot or not on my laptop 's bios,and ventoy enable secure boot,than it can't boot with uefi on my laptop.but when i disable secure boot on ventoy and my laptop's bios,it work.

我在ventoy里面禁了安全启动，但主板BIOS的安全启动不关，反而能看到这样一个页面。。。。。。就很离谱也很奇怪

玄学问题，在出现刚刚那个画面之后f12（boot menu）里面多了一个EFI开头的USB设备，开了安全启动之后选择多出来的那个设备，然后接着就能看到跟文档和vmware里面一样的导入证书的界面了，后面也就一切顺利了

不过好像又出了一个新的奇怪的问题，就是选择启动项之后下一屏跑到右下角去了

只有edgeless的wim会这样，U盘里面的Ubuntu和Debian的ISO都正常

You'd need to disable the secure boot in the BIOS, not Ventoy.
