I just wanted to try theShell in my new Arch install via the repo and once I start it some kind of green notification saying "theShell" gets spawned again and again, making the bar unusable and it constantly plays the notification sound.

I feel like this is a known bug with power management. Can you try unplugging your computer and seeing if that works for you? You should be able to turn off those notifications in System Settings and you should be able to use theShell
I think I've fixed the bug in theShell Blueprint, so when I finally release the next version of theShell, you should be good.
