Unknown License Type

Bug summary

The LICENSE file included is missing the line MIT LICENSE in its file. The license is not listed in the PYPI.org listing and also makes pip-licenses return an UNKNOWN license type when generating a license report.

Expected outcome

pip-licenses would find the correct license type when it inspects the unpacked wheel and print it rather than printing UNKNOWN. The provider I am working with requires that licenses are not tagged as UNKNOWN for python packages we work with. Requesting to have the MIT LICENSE license line added to the start of the license file (reference: https://spdx.org/licenses/MIT.html)
