Upgrade ruby/rails to get chromedriver to work #241
Comments
Hello @noahko96 |
@kentaurse Hey Ethan, I'm good, just have not had really any time to spend on this project recently. I added a bit more info to the description of the task. Feel free to fork this project and open a PR if you wish to work on this issue. Just tag me in said PR when it is ready and I'll be happy to review it for you. Also, let me know if you have any additional questions. |
Thank you for your response. |
@kentaurse Feel free to apply through the website if you wish. I would prefer to keep this issue about the actual open source project it is on though, so if you want to work on this project open a PR. If you are looking for a job, please don't continue to talk about it on this thread. |
Recent changes to Chromedriver are causing the tests to fail and the fix is to get to a more recent version of Ruby and Rails in order to comply with these new Chromedriver changes. Ideally, we would just completely modernize both of those getting to at least Rails 7.1 and Ruby 3.3, but as long as we get far enough along to where the tests are passing again, I would consider this task complete.
