I always get : An import map is added after module script load was triggered

Describe the bug

I created a blank index.html file and added a single snippet to dynamically load importmap

index.html

    let importMap = { };
    const script = document.createElement("script");
    script.type = "importmap";
    script.textContent = JSON.stringify(importMap);
     document.head .append(script);
  </script>

and served this file using vite

npx -y vite

but got this error

(index):12 An import map is added after module script load was triggered

I saw this issue but I'm not sure if it is relevant
