Description

Nest framework TypeScript starter repository.

Installation

$ npm install

Running the app

# development
$ npm run start

# watch mode
$ npm run start:dev

# production mode
$ npm run start:prod

Test

# unit tests
$ npm run test
$ npm run test:cov - to have coverage report

# e2e tests
$ npm run test:e2e
$ npm run test:e2e:cov - to have coverage report

Debug

  1. Debug in run mode (For WebStorm)

    • Edit Configurations
    • Add a new configuration - Node.js
    Nest Logo
    • Set up breakpoints
    • Launch debug button

  2. Debug in tests:

    • Place breakpoint in either tests or in source files (or both)
    • Right click on test and debug
    • Wait for app to launch
    • For integration tests create jest-e2e.json, configure, and follow the same steps
