More compact candidate list

I wonder if we can get a slightly more compact candidate listing. Easiest change would be to make font size bigger without changing the height of the candidate box, effectively less padding on the text. This would mean more readability for a set number of candidates on the screen, and then maybe we can consider packing more candidates with slightly smaller font.

(Right now, the font takes up only about half the height of the tappable box.)
