This module currently supports multiple proxysql versions and the used version gets selected with the version parameter.

Although proxysql 2.2 to 2.7 are maintained by upstream, it's difficult to properly support all different versions at the same time.

Instead, I suggest to drop the multi-version feature and just support the latest version of proxysql.

We might keep the possibility of selecting a different repo to install proxysql in a different version.

I understand your concern but coming more from an operational database support background... database infrastructure is not something that you typically upgrade lightly... so I would +1 keeping the multi-version support to (at least) the upstream supported / maintained versions...

Just my 2 cents for this discussion
