User 1: Demographic: Tech-Savvy Cornell Tech Student
- I would consider myself very tech savvy.
- Public transportation is main form of transportation considering I live in city.
- Having the ability to go where I want when I want is very important, so it's very hard not having my car here. I'm at the mercy of the subway.
- Yes I do.
- I would say first overall cost, reliability, comfortability, and environmental friendliness.
- I would say safety and comfort.
- I rarely use them, it's more efficient for me living in the city to use the subway.
- I would say I'm fairly familiar the technology.
- I would say it's at an interesting inflection. There's a lot of fear surrounding the technology because of lack of knowledge and information. People are fearful because of hacking.
- I would say I'm relatively trustful of it.
- Of course, without a reliable system of mechanisms which includes the working technology, self-driving cars wouldn't exist. Thus, the ability to trust it or not wouldn't exist.
- It depends on how much you want to educate them, but no, I don't think so. This situation is analogous to airplanes. We've been flown using autopilot for so long, yet people still fly. I think helping people understand the connection that this isn't as far as a step away from what we currently have is the key to getting them to accept it.
- Very likely, but I'm also a risk taker.
- Not very much, I'm excited to utilize the additional space and time to work and focus on things I care about instead of having to drive.
User 2: Demographic: Uninformed Medical Professional
- I think I'm pretty decent with technology. On a scale of 1-10 I'm a solid 6.

- I own a vehicle.
- Good gas mileage and necessities such as a/c or radio.
- Good music and comfortable seating.
- I use them mainly when I've been drinking.
- Not very familiar.

- I use it to travel to local bars on the weekends.
- Not at all.
- It's great now, and it'll just make people lazy in the future.
- My confidence is a little low because of my lack knowledge.
- Not necessarily because it plays such a larger role in the community. For example, it drives on roadways with others, specifically humans, dealing with random uncontrollable external factors, and human errors.
- Yes, but definitely won't be accepted by everyone.
- On a scale of 1-10, a 9. I would do it for the experience. I think it would also add to my trust level after experiencing a ride.
- Full functionality. If it communicated with me, opened my door, offered me a drink, and just interacted with me as if it was person. I could almost trust it more than a regular person.
