Does SDW IG have a representative in the OGC Disaster Concept Development Study?

Its next workshop is 24-25 July in Silver Spring and the agenda seems relevant to WebVMT involvement in the OGC Test Bed programme, as discussed last week in Fort Collins. I think the Crisis Response use case ties in with its aims, basic tech demos for capturing and displaying data are already built, and I'm happy to put together suitable slides for remote presentation.

What's the best way to proceed? Do we need to co-ordinate our efforts with OGC members and, if so, who and how? Should we arrange a telecon to discuss the details? Please let me know your thoughts.

Although the opportunity to participate in the workshop has passed, it would be worth identifying a suitable point of contact in the OGC Emergency and Disaster Management DWG to highlight the Crisis Response use case and discuss whether it is of interest to them.

As a result of my presentation to the OGC Defence & Intelligence DWG in Stuttgart on 10th September, I was also invited to present to the Emergency & Disaster Management/Law Enforcement And Public Safety DWG later that day, and so have established contact.
