pinyin-jptext

tag: inline-notes Chinese textbooks for foreigners. The ruby annotations are group-ruby for Chinese words. Ruby characters for the first word in a line are left-aligned, and other ruby characters are center-aligned. Words in the main text are separated by spaces, and tracking inside a word is normal.

This is also notable in that it uses uppercase characters in the annotation at the start of a sentence and for Zhongguo (China), and includes punctuation in the annotations.

FWIW, I wrote an HTML file to try to reproduce this scenario: https://xfq.github.io/testing/i18n-personal-tests/chinese-group-ruby.html
