Co-chair from the Spatial Data on the Web IG, Linda van den Brink, joined the WoT breakout and we discussed collaboration (and also jointly coordinating with the OGC). Note also https://www.w3.org/2017/sdwig/; according to this, the team contact at W3C is Ted Guild. However the sdwig public mailing list says François Daoust is the W3C team contact, and Ted's page no longer mentions the group.

At any rate, I have initiated an email thread on this, and redirected responses to this issue for public discussion.

We discussed this briefly during the SDWIG monthly call yesterday. There is interest in organizing a joint WoT / SDWIG session. Our suggestion is to do this during the upcoming OGC member meeting in December. This would allow WoT to engage not only with regular SDWIG members but with the larger OGC community.

Our OGC staff contact Scott Simmons can help us find a time slot in the first or second week of December. Second week is when the main part of the OGC meeting is (when a lot of working groups are meeting), but first week is also part of the meeting, allowing more groups to meet.

[edit]We might be able to use our regular time slot which is Dec 10, 14:00 UTC-15:00 UTC.[/edit]

Once we have an agenda I can do some outreach within OGC to attract people to the session.

@tguild is our team contact, info saying it's François is outdated.

The WoT IG/WG just met and agreed that 13:00UTC-15:00UTC (to give us two hours) on Dec 10 should work. There was some concern that this might overlap with irregular project planning meetings for W3C staff although there is not currently a conflict, so let's book it.

Next steps: agenda items. Let's continue to use this issue.

Update: due to a W3C staff meeting conflict, we can only have a 1h meeting from 14-15 UTC. I've updated the main description and the Outlook invite.
