When creating a page with multiple external links in the native language, the links point to the native-language version of external pages. However, when translating the page, all links are represented as ..., and translators have no way to modify these links to point to the corresponding translated versions.
This forces users to stop the synced translation feature since the links continue pointing to the wrong language versions of the external pages.
Suggested Improvement
It would be helpful to have a separate section where external links are listed, allowing the translator to easily define and update these links for each translated version. This would ensure that external links point to the correct language version on translated pages and maintain consistency during the translation process.

I just came here to see if anyone else had this issue, I agree that it's definitely needed. If users are trying to translate content that links to an external e.g. English information source, then all they get is a confusing tag when it comes time to translate the button or link. It's also a pretty common use case, as you don't want to link to English information on the German version of a page.
