Warp for Windows crushing during the update #5758
Comments
Hi @oknemixam, thank you for reporting and sorry for the issues here. This kind of issue typically happens when there are multiple instances of the app running; the installer can't replace files that are already in use. Could you try closing all Warp windows, then reopening a single window before clicking "Update Warp" again? |
I am having this issue as well and all instances are closed. There is nothing named "warp" in task manager. Would it be using another process? |
Hmm, is there an |
No, that didn't help. |
Hi @lucieleblanc no problem, I hope the guys will eventually fix it.
|
Hi all, thank you for the details. Are you running antivirus software? If so, do you see Warp or any terminal-related files/processes in the antivirus software's recent activity? If you're able to, please send specifics to the team in the early tester Slack -- that will make it easier for the whole Warp on Windows team to read and respond. |
