  • Wavebox Version: 10.0.25
  • Operating System & Version: 10.15

Expected & actual behavior
Wanted to import the settings from Wavebox 4.1.5beta (aka Classic Wavebox) into the new, shiny Wavebox 10.

Using the sync no profile was found (there are Version 4 profiles). The import also failed, because the file must have Version 9+ (which Version 9?!)

Steps to reproduce
I think this is obvious

Is the bug persistent or intermittent?
Two attempt to migrate, two failures.

Screenshots
I think not necessary.

Additional information
No good way to introduce a new major release…

Meh, I just read about the missing migration assistant.

We're not pushing this down the normal update channels just yet, as we're yet to release our migration wizard, which means you will have to setup a-fresh. If you don't mind doing this (or want to clear out a few cobwebs 🕸️) then the download page is for you 😊.

Should be the solution. Sorry.

But by putting the new version onto your download page, you put it into a "normal" channel. Especially for people who will install Wavebox on a 2nd machine...
